1 1/2 (450 g) jars spicy dill pickle spears
140 g plain flour
1/2 teaspoons paprika
60 ml milk
1 egg, mixed
150 g breadcrumbs
Cooking spray


  1. After draining the pickles, pat them dry completely.
  2. Thoroughly mix flour with paprika in one bowl and beat egg with milk in another.
  3. Spread the breadcrumbs in another shallow bowl.
  4. Preheat your air fryer appliance to 200 C in 3 minutes.
  5. Dip the pickle sticks first in the flour mixture then in the egg and finally in the panko crumbs.
  6. Arrange them on the crisper plate of the fryer basket and insert them back.
  7. Air fry for 14 minutes and flip the fries once cooked halfway through.
  8. Serve warm.
